International Ship and Port Facility Security Course was held on 11 - 15 September 2017 at MARSEC COE/İstanbul.

The aim of this course was to provide current and future Ship Security Officers (SSO), shipboard personnel, the Company Security Officers (CSO), Port Facility Security Officers (PFSO) and appropriate personnel (law enforcement and government/military entities) with knowledge and ability to perform their assigned duties described in the context of International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

At the end of the course, participants were certified in accordance with the related provisions of the ISPS CODE.

7 Academics from Huqiao University/China, International Association For Counter Terrorism And Security/Singapore (IACSP), Piri Reis University/Turkey, and Koç University/Turkey participated as lecturers, and 30 attendees from Albania, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, South Korea, Oman, Turkey joined as trainees.
