NATO Maritime Security Center of Excellence (MARSEC COE) participated in NATO Centres of Excellence Marketplace that took place at NATO HQ in Brussels on 10 - 11 May 2022. During the event, we had the opportunity to introduce our projects, concept development efforts, courses and diamond events to Ambassador Basat Öztürk, the Turkish Permanent Representative to NATO, General Paolo Ruggiero, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Transformation, Major General Gijs Van Keulen, Director Operations and Planning of the NATO International Military Staff, NATO HQ community and other COEs.

While in Brussels, Captain (TUR-N) Sümer KAYSER, the Director of MARSEC COE, and his staff engaged with NATO’s Assistant Secretary General for Emerging Security Challenges, David van Weel, to coordinate and collaborate on our projects through NATO Science for Peace and Security (SPS) programme. Also, the engagement with the Turkish Military Representative to NATO, Lieutenant General İsmail Üner, made the visit remarkable.
