Maritime Security Centre of Excellence (MARSEC COE)’s NATO Approved “Maritime Operational Awareness for Joint Operations Course” was successfully held physically at the premises of MARSEC COE between the dates of 20-24 February 2023, with the aim of providing Navy and non-Navy staff awareness and understanding of maritime aspects of joint operations for the functions of joint operations, exercise planning and execution in NATO Joint HQs as well as non-Naval NATO HQs, and a total number of 29 in-person lecturer/SME/attendees from 6 different countries (Germany, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Singapore, and Türkiye) participated in the event.
