Maritime Security Centre of Excellence (MARSEC COE)'s "Maritime Security Law Course" was successfully held physically at the premises of MARSEC COE between the dates of 19-22 September 2023, with the aim of enable staff officers' to demonstrate an advanced and specialised understanding of the laws applicable to Maritime Security Operations (MSO), thus to develop the mandatory skills required for planning and conducting MSO. A total number of 39 lecturer/SME/attendees from 10 different countries (Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portuguese, Romania, Senegal, Netherlands, Türkiye and United Kingdom) participated in the event in-person.
