International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code Course

International Ship and Port Security (ISPS) Code Course going to be carried out in-person from 05 to 09 February 2024 at the premises of NATO Maritime Security Centre of Excellence İstanbul/TÜRKİYE.

The aim of the course is to give the participants `Ship Security Officer Course`, `Company Security Officer Course` and `Port Facility Security Officer Course` in order to meet specific requirements identified by International Ship and Port Facility Security Code.

Target Audience:
1. Personnel responsible for or involved with maritime security onboard ships and at port facilities and appropriate personnel (law enforcement and government/military entities) who have been allocated potential or specific tasks in an existing security programme.

2. Navy/CG personnel, appropriate personnel (SSO, CSO, PFSO) from both government and non-government agencies (intelligence and maritime administration), fixed and floating platforms and mobile offshore drilling units’ security personnel and other maritime security stakeholders (Chamber of Shipping, Recognized Security Organizations (RSOs)] who are likely to engage in ISPS Code related issues.

The course will be conducted in English. Translation to / from other languages will not be provided. Attendees should meet the following standards of proficiency in English (as described in STANAG 6001/SLP 2222): Listening – Fair (2), Speaking – Fair (2), Reading – Fair (2) and Writing – Fair (2).

The course is marked as Unclassified / Releasable to: Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI), Partners across the Globe (PatG).
