Maritime Operational Awareness for Joint Operations Course

Maritime Operational Awareness for Joint Operations Course (MOP-MO-22029) going to be carried out in-person from 20 to 24 February 2023 at the premises of NATO Maritime Security Centre of Excellence İstanbul/TÜRKİYE.

On 8 July 2022, NATO MARSEC COE accredited with the NATO Unconditional Quality Assurance Institutional Accreditation, and subsequently this course reached NATO Approved level, available in ETOC (MOP-MO-22029).

The aim of this course is to provide to Navy and non-Navy staff awareness and understanding of maritime aspects of joint operations for the functions of joint operations/exercise planning and execution in NATO Joint HQs as well as non-Naval NATO HQs.

The course is open to all naval and non-naval personnel from NATO Nations/entities.

The course will be conducted in English. Translation to / from other languages will not be provided. Attendees should meet the following standards of proficiency in English (as described in STANAG 6001/SLP 3232): Listening – Good (3), Speaking – Fair (2), Reading – Good (3) and Writing – Fair (2).

The above mentioned course is certified as NATO APPROVED while its classification is up to NATO RESTRICTED.
