Maritime Operational Awareness for Joint Operations Course

Maritime Operational Awareness for Joint Operations Course (NATO Approved Course) which is going to be carried out in person on 1721 February 2025 at the premises of the Maritime Security Centre of Excellence – İstanbul/TÜRKİYE.

The aim of this course is to provide non-Navy staff with awareness, understanding and knowledge about basic maritime aspects required to be considered in the planning and execution of Joint and multi-domain operations and exercises to improve their on-the-job performance to achieve Joint and MDO effects.

The course will be conducted in English. Translation to/from other languages will not be provided. Attendees should meet the following standards of proficiency in English (as described in STANAG 6001/SLP 2222): Listening – Fair (2), Speaking – Fair (2), Reading – Fair (2) and Writing – Fair (2).

The course is marked as “Unclassified / Releasable to Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI), Partners across the Globe (PatG).”
