Eurasia Partnership Maritime Interdiction Operations 2017 was conducted in Odessa / Ukraine on 3 - 7 April 2017, co-organized by US Naval Forces Europe and Ukrainian Naval Forces Command.

MARSEC COE Mobile Training Team together with USA (6 Instructors, 1 Interpreter and 1 Liaison Officer), Azerbaijan (1 personnel), Bulgaria (4 personnel), Georgia (4 personnel), Romania (4 personnel) and Ukraine (25 personnel) participated in this training event.

Visit, Board, Search and Seizure (VBSS) related theory was provided for the participants on the first day of the event and practical trainings were conducted for the rest of the week, with the aim of promoting interoperability of the regional countries and enhancing expertise in Maritime Interdiction Operations.
