Main Planning Conference (MPC) and Main Events List/Main Incident List (MEL/MIL) Strategy Workshop of Maritime Security Exercise-2023 (EXER MARSEC-23) was successfully conducted in hybrid (both in-person and on-line) format on 13th and 14th of March 2023, and totally 42 participants, representing diverse maritime interested stakeholders from military, academia, governmental institutions, international organisations, and companies, attended the proceeding/discussions.
During the MPC, Refined Draft Exercise Plan (EXPLAN) of EXER MARSEC-23, participation, coordination, staffing, venue, CIS structure, and scenario were discussed, and the way ahead was established.
During the Strategy WS, MEL & MIL were established for ulterior scripting purposes, together with defining the Level of Ambition (LoA) and reflecting Training Objectives (TOs) for each event and incident line respectively.
