The Maritime Security Centre of Excellence conducted the “Maritime Operational Awareness for Joint Operations Course” from 17 to 21 February 2025, with physical attendance. Designed for non-naval personnel serving at NATO Joint Headquarters, the course provided awareness, understanding, and knowledge of essential maritime considerations when planning and conducting operations and exercises in a joint, multi-domain environment (land, sea, air, cyberspace, etc.). By enhancing participants’ performance, the course aimed to help achieve effective joint and multi-domain operational outcomes. A total of 29 instructors, subject matter experts, and course attendees from six countries (USA, Azerbaijan, Italy, Norway, Portugal, and Türkiye) took part in this program.
