The Maritime Security Centre of Excellence (MARSEC COE) successfully held its “Maritime Security Law Course” in person at the MARSEC COE premises from 09 to 13 February 2026. The course aimed to enable staff officers to demonstrate an advanced and specialized understanding of the laws applicable to Maritime Security Operations (MSO), thus to develop the mandatory skills required for planning and conducting MSO. A total of 57 lecturers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and attendees from 16 different countries (Azerbaijan, Belgium, Canada, Djibouti, Greece, Jordan, Malta, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Türkiye, Uganda and Ukraine) participated in the event in person.
