Comprehensive Maritime Security Operations Course (Listed Course) which is going to be carried out in person on 24 November – 05 December 2025 at the premises of the Maritime Security Centre of Excellence – İstanbul/TÜRKİYE.

This course aims to provide a comprehensive approach to Maritime Security, Maritime Security Operations (MSO), and its tasks, as they are articulated in NATO MSO Concept (MC 0588), including its History, Law, Concepts, Doctrines, Challenges, Operations Planning, and other aspects, through analysing challenges, risks, and threats on regional and global scale and their potential impacts on Alliance Security.

The course will be conducted in English. Translation to/from other languages will not be provided. Attendees should meet the following standards of proficiency in English (as described in STANAG 6001/SLP 2222): Listening – Fair (2), Speaking – Fair (2), Reading – Fair (2) and Writing – Fair (2).

The course is marked as “Unclassified / Releasable to Partnership for Peace (PfP), Mediterranean Dialogue (MD), Istanbul Cooperation Initiative (ICI), Partners across the Globe (PatG).”
